This is a very comfortable shoe. It has sock-like fit and lots of cushioning. Like other reviewers point out, there is much arch support, but it is not a stability shoe. The shoe's durability seems to be excellent. The New Balance laces never loosen.

I'm 240# and run hard. Loved the shoe. Great cushioning, a little stiff, but far, far better than too plush. Have wide feet and the wide toe box was great. Combined these with the green feet insert and it's the best I've ever run with.

I'm mixed on this shoe, I'm a 9 1/2 4E and 215 lbs. The cushioning is great, my feet feel very stable, knees and ankles feel great after a run. The width is perfect except for the problem, excessive room in the toe box up and down. I tried to like them because of the difficulty of finding a good ...

Good cushioning. Unfortunately, the 1062's are stiff, bulky, heavy, and too wide & loose in the heels. I preferred the 1061's.

6'5" 210 lbs male with mid-high arches. Like this shoe way better than the saucony pro-grid i had before (not enough coushioning). not sure if it's better than the Brooks Glycerin though. I like the wide aspect of the shoe that allows for my size 14 feet to fit into well.

The lace support pulled out of the N on the side of the shoe. This is clearly inferior to the 1061 which had the lace sewn at the N. This shoe NEEDS to be discontinued!

Great shoe for 190 pounder+. Excellent fit for my wide foot. Dries quickly after rinsing sweat away after runs. Only gripe is I've had the "N" strip pull out on two pair and had to return for exchange. Suggest NB rethink the N strap. A good buy for someone wanting a comfortable ride.
God Bless...

37 years old 168lb/77kg, 6.0ft/1.83m, feet uk 11/EU 46 medium to flat arch - go 1 size up when buying. I've had 2 pairs of 1061s and these are more durable. I find that all of them take about 60 miles to break-in. The lace eyelet at the ankle is very stiff and can cause pain at the base of the fibia...

At age 70, still 158-60 lbs, a 50-year runner who's never had a running injury--and w/21 marathons. Upgraded from the 882 which, first time ever, gave my high arch a plantar pull; 1062 solved it. I've never worn any other shoe except N.B.

I've been running since 1971 and never enjoyed the kind of comfort afforded by my new 1062's. I have chronic runner's knee and achilles tendon issues which I doubt would exist if I had been using the 1062 all along. MAKE SURE TO SIZE UP because the padding is substantial. Only negative is that they'...

I upgraded from the 882. The 1062 didn't require any break-in period and the forefoot cushioning was better than the 882. So far- so good!

Very comfortable but way too stiff in midsole -- gave me shin splints then a bad back when I changed my running style to compensate. They may be good for someone who likes the stiffness but a bust for me.

These shoes have a great ride and feel a lot less bulky than some of the older model NB shoes I've tried. When doing Marathon training miles these shoes have a perfect amount of cushioning and not too much to feel spongy. Great shoe and made in the USA.

This shoe is just made too big. The heal and toe areas are just way too loose. I had an old pair of New Balance 1040s that I hated to part with. I did everything to try to find the equivalent pair. It seems like they have taken manufacturing short cuts so that the shoe does not conform as well t...

After the first 6 miles my ankles were killing me. I thought it was due to the new shoes. 15 mile later I called the store and asked for an exchange.
Way to soft. My foot felt fine as the fit was perfect but my time was way down due to the discomfort.
